What stations do the tours on the Müggelsee include?
Regardless of whether you choose one of the capital city or lounge rafts, the excursion starts at the Oberbaumbrücke. The trip then takes you past the Arena Treptow bathing ship and the Molecule Man. After sailing under the Iron Bridge, you will cruise past Treptower Park before passing under another bridge at the Island of Youth. After passing Rummelsburger Bucht and the Berliner Funkhaus, you can catch a glimpse of the dreamy old town of Köpenick. Finally, you reach your destination in the form of the beautiful Müggelsee lake with its numerous attractions and amenities.
How long is a boat tour?
You can choose between a five-hour or a four-hour boat tour. If you choose the longer option, you will still have enough time for a swimming break. So don’t forget your swimsuit! If, on the other hand, you’re not looking for swimming fun, four hours is plenty of time to enjoy the magic of the lake, the cool, soothing wind and the surrounding nature of Lake Müggelsee.
How many people can take part in the trips?
This depends on the boats you choose for your tours. There is room for 35 passengers on each of the capital rafts. For more intimate gatherings and trips, the lounge raft 1 and lounge raft 2 are perfectly adequate. The former can accommodate 20 people, while the latter can take up to 25 people.
