Here, by the way, you can celebrate various parties with up to 150 people in front of a romantic and breathtaking city panorama. But first you say goodbye to the bay on one of our capital city or lounge rafts. First you will pass the picturesque old town of Köpenick with its flourishing promenade, historic town hall, quaint half-timbered houses and medieval brick Gothic architecture. Afterwards, you can relax and drift through the Oberschönenweide in the Treptow-Köpenick district – once a large industrial site, today business, art and culture and a popular local recreation area exist side by side here. Should I take a bathing suit with me?
It depends on which tour you choose. There are two options to choose from: The 5-hour tour is ideal for swimming excursions during the warmer and hotter months of the year. For this trip, it is therefore advisable to prepare your clothing accordingly. However, if you just want to enjoy the ride, the view and the fresh air on the way to one of Berlin’s largest lakes, that’s no problem either. In this case, book the four-hour trip.
How many people fit on the boats?
The answer here depends on the houseboat you ultimately choose. The capital rafts 1 and 2 as well as Christel and Horst offer sufficient capacity for 35 people. The number of passengers on lounge raft 1 should not exceed 20 and on lounge raft 2 you can take up to 25 people on your little trip on the Spree to Müggelsee. Our lounge raft 3 has a maximum capacity of 24 people.
What food options are available?
Here, too, you largely have the power to decide. Meat-based, vegetarian and vegan dishes are no problem for us. Just let us know what you want to eat early enough so that we can make the necessary arrangements and put together a suitable menu. Cakes and gateaux (also for weddings and birthdays) can also be included on the menu.

Tips for your private boat party in Rummelsburg Bay
A classic, normal party where everyone just has fun can be just as much fun as a themed party. With the latter, however, be careful not to fall into clichés and kitsch – pirates and mermaids, for example, fall into these categories, except of course for absolute Disney/mermaid or pirate fans. Instead, choose a theme such as Old Hollywood, 1920s party, casino boat, Agatha Christie thriller. Alternatively, you can also travel back to the 70s, 80s or 90s. Choose the appropriate decorations and we will help you decorate the boat with them.
Guests should not be missing at a party. Always bear in mind the capacity of the selected boat when sending out invitations. Invite friends and family early enough. Some of them may not be able to come on the exact day you have chosen and you will have to reschedule accordingly. If it’s a theme party, don’t forget to inform your guests of the theme with the official invitation. You might also want to think about a fun activity or two. Party games and karaoke are a good idea if you think your guests will be up for it.
