Event ship 2: bright, warm and Mediterranean on the Spree
Allow us to introduce: Event ship 2! For three months we sanded, built and upholstered – with a lot of heart and soul. Now the newest member of the Hauptstadtfloß fleet is ready and invites you to unforgettable events on the Spree.
The highlight is right at the top: a cruising lounge terrace like no other on the Spree. Cognac-coloured leather sofas, oleanders in terracotta pots, rugs underfoot, little lamps on every table and cosy blankets for the evening. The terrace is even larger than on Gustav – with lounge corners for every guest and a real rooftop feeling while Berlin glides past.
Inside, a special atmosphere awaits you too: the lower deck impresses with light parquet flooring, leather sofas, elegant marble tables and large windows all around. Warm, bright and really cosy – and thanks to heating and air conditioning bookable all year round. With space for up to 45 people in the large salon and an additional 15 seats in the panorama salon at the front with all-round views of the water, even larger groups are comfortably accommodated.
A private bar, a buffet right on board, a sound system and two modern toilets ensure comfort throughout the trip. We recommend a maximum capacity of 70 people. Departure is from the Oberbaumbrücke or from many other jetties all over Berlin.
Wedding, birthday, company party, conference or Christmas party: Event ship 2 and our event ship Gustav are siblings – same design, but each with its very own character. The choice is yours: bright, warm and Mediterranean on Event ship 2, or elegant and cosy like a stylish hotel bar on Gustav. Two ships, two moods, one goal: your best event on the water. Event ship 2 and Gustav are sisters: same design, same size, both finished to a high standard – you choose the mood. Event ship 2 is bright, warm and Mediterranean, like a seaside lounge. Gustav is elegant and cosy, like a stylish hotel bar. If you want to spend lots of time on deck, Event ship 2 offers the larger lounge terrace extending to the stern.

Our routes with the event ship
With us, you are the captain, because you decide where to go. There are 14 routes to choose from. Whether with the small or large city tour through the city or a bathing trip out to Müggelsee or the large lake tour; discover Little Venice, a romantic quarter on the Havel, or explore Lake Tegel. There is so much to see, the choice is yours. It’s beautiful everywhere and the water opens up a whole new perspective. Not all boats can sail all routes*, our event office will be happy to advise you. Various moorings are possible throughout the city, the Oberbaumbrücke is our main mooring point. You can take a closer look at the respective route in our navigation. The first name indicates the landing stage.

After an initial consultation, we will make you an individual offer and suggest suitable boats for hire in Berlin.
3. book a boat or ship
We will contact you to confirm your preferred date and the availability of the boat.
4. final agreement
Four weeks before your event, we will clarify the final details with you: service staff, catering (incl. drinks), boat route and other details.
5. enjoy the event
As soon as the day of your event arrives, you can sit back and enjoy an exuberant celebration with your guests.
